FIELD NOTES

$300 flights inspired a birthday a trip to Vancouver which in sum turned into an architectural tour of the city balanced by good food, drinks, people, and the occasional mountain.

Having read Arthur Erickson's biography beforehand, the opportunity to experience some of his best work was a major highlight. Stepping into the Museum of Anthropology was akin to stepping into a temple.

Another highlight not captured was a serendipitous encounter with the local renowned ceramics collector who spoke to us about his exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
